      Jay Knack Records is seeking submissions of great original material from 5 additional Upstate NY music artists to be part of Jay Knack Records' 2009 Summer Compilation. All 10 artists will contribute $100 to the funding of the compilation. You provide the final mix of your song and Jay Knack Records will master and press the compilation. The compilation will be distrubuted to regional radio stations. Each artist will receive 100 copies of the CD to do what they please, along with promotion and the full support of Jay Knack Records. $100 GETS YOU... a. 100 copies of a PRESSED compilation for you to promote and/or sell. -Stations won't play burned CDs, pressing your own album costs a minimum of $1000 plus recording, mastering & artwork. b. Major exposure!! -Every time the CD is distributed by the 9 other artists, your song gets distributed as well. Not like big bill shows when the other band's fans leave after they perform. c. Featured artist on this website/Mentions in JKR's promotions/newsletters of the compilation. -We have a huge email list and this site gets plenty of traffic. d. You're signed to a label!! -Although it's is just for one song on one album, you are free to promote yourself as being signed to our indie labie and use our moniker and logos as you choose.! e. We are a Non-Profit Record Label! -Literally, we cover our costs and everything goes to the artists. It will cost $1000 to press this. 10 artists, $100 each. Our interests are to build the label name. Most people involved in the label are artists looking for exposure and distribution. We intend to keep it that way!
